DO YOU KNOW?

Women’s Forum is the name of our fantastic women’s ministry. It has greatly benefited the female members of our church. Women need forums where they may share and submit requests for specific prayers. In this ministry, women can develop friendships that encourage fervent prayer for one another. The Forum is not only excellent platform to ask for prayer, but also  a wonderful opportunity to learn how to pray fervently . Through this forum, many women have developed a radical prayer life .

 

OBJECTIVES OF WOMENS MINISTRY IN OUR CHURCH 

  • Women should grow in our intimacy with the Lord
  • Women should lead others to Christ
  • To help each woman find their niche
  • Platform for women to form healthy and meaningful relationships
  • Enable women to discover, develop and use their God-given gifts
  • Equip the women to minister to each other with love and respect 
  • To provide opportunity for older women to mentor younger women-  
  • To strengthen families
  • To help women fight spiritual battles
  • Help the women to grow in scripture and prayer

Our vision for women in the church is that women must serve other women because the Bible commands us to, God gives instructions for women in the church in Paul’s letter to Titus. It is advised that women instruct younger women in godliness. Specifically stated, mentoring younger people is given to women.

GROW IN FELLOWSHIP

Because women require environments where they can feel emotionally safe and this Forum always offers a safe and secure spiritually covered space. Many women are more comfortable speaking up in a group of other women because they feel more confident doing so. Women require spiritual company. Whether they are young, middle-aged, or elderly, women require meaningful connections that endure a long time and are rich in content. 

As opposed to the quick and superficial “how are you doings” of Sunday mornings, our women’s ministry offers the potential for meaningful interactions. This serves as a reminder to women that they are never forced to confront life alone. Women’s forum offers an inviting setting where women can develop their spiritual disciplines with others, be mentored, and exchange advice and wisdom.

 

GROW IN THE WORD OF GOD

We emphasize the value of studying the Bible. All of us need to learn the truth about the Bible. When faith is put to the test, it has an opportunity to grow and flourish. Because of this, women who are firmly rooted in the Bible and Christ are more equipped to handle life’s storms.

GROW IN PRAYER

“A strong lady works out daily to maintain her physical fitness. However, a strong woman kneels in prayer and maintains her spiritual health.”
Even though God is aware of our needs before we even consider asking, it is important to turn to God in prayer. While we have faith that God will provide our necessities under His providence, still prayer is needed. We pray in order to confess our complete reliance on the Lord and give Him the praise that is rightfully due His name.

GROW IN THEIR GIFTS

This forum helps women put their skills and abilities to use in the kingdom of God. The Lord wants his children to use the gifts and talents he provides them for his glory. A woman can use her God given skills in a church environment through the women’s ministry. It is a location where she can refine and use her abilities.

As a church we believe that women must grow , it is essential for the overall growth of church. No matter how old she is, a woman does not have to stay the same. The Lord exhorts us to develop.
